waiting for Rob...

Aww, this one comes along with a very interesting story... well well..

has told that her husband had to leave for a week, because of a business trip or something. Leks feels really lonely and bored without him and she can't do anything just sit and doodle while waiting for him... there, some people offered her to sit there with her and wait to make Leks feel she's not alone... yes, including me... and suddenly... I couldn't help the idea came and this is what have been born.

So yeppers, the guys there, left to right. Firstly, Charlie and me - not much to say about this. Next to us the lonely Leks is sitting... aww Leks... *hughughug* don't look like this, that's killing me!! Hah, I really like how she came out. I can't draw fur. It's a sort of nightmare to me to draw anything with a fur - that's totally crazy! Though, it was fun to draw Leks, I like her character very much The other two are some 'random' people. The first is , one of Leks' friends. Though, it's not really like her - I didn't have any good pictures of her, unfortunately. While I was looking through her gallery to find a pic of her, I was in a hurry (we was about to go to my grandma) so I just saved a picture fast and ran off. The picture was not like the best thing ever, couldn't really use it as a reference, so instead I drew an ordinary face with this sort of curly hair, what she had on the pic. The second is He's eating a banana which he got from Leks. Reference used: his ID. When I did the first sketches, I realized that this quite looks like a goat manifestation of Kurt Cobain, sitting on the top of a tree. Oookay, I shut up. No, DON'T ask me why are we sitting on a TREE. I don't have the slightest idea. I just imagined it this way, and drew it... The tree... I know it's seems all flat, but I liked this way and I left it as it is. There is a little shading in it, though - maybe this doesn't seem here... I don't know.

Aww man, what a little group My aunt said we don't look like all excited Might some of you are wondering if I'm going to colour this... my answer is a respectful no. I wanted to draw some kind of muchly-detailed cartoon-ish sort of sketchy thing, all with a pencil. Oh well the scanner and my own messing up has ruined a lot of details, but anyways, I love this drawing... I really do!! I put a lot of work into it, and I'm very proud of how did it came out. I hope you will like it too.

Maybe there is a lot of stuff I wanted to tell, but I forgot all, and I have to go to bed anyways right now I will go back to this sometime I believe.... *runs off*



That was done with a HB and a 4B pencil, finished 08. 29. 04 if I remember well....?? ENJOY!
