Just a character sketch, so to say, mostly for practice. I came to realize I need to learn how to break away from 2D and tried to make this as 3D as possible. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it, it has its faults but definitely a step forward.
So, that's me. To fully understand the joke you have to know that last month I was hired for some cleaning job for a week, I replaced one of the missing cleaners, had to clean the 2nd floor of an office bulding.
Was a pretty kick ass job, actually. Never have I earned so much money with so little work. I was paid 3 hours for a job that I could finish in 2 hours, I could come and go whenever I wanted as long as the work was done. So like, I could be half an hour late, no one ever cared.
The best part of the job was that I was the only living human creature on the whole 2nd floor for the majority of the time, so while cleaning I could just sing aloud and rock out in what ever way I wanted. I had this playlist mostly consisting of Slipknot songs, which possibly played a great part in the fact that I was done in not more than 2 hours every day. Thanks, Slipknot.
I actually did NOT have that working suit, I wish I had though, and then they could have given it to me for free, as a sign of gratitude for the great job I did. It is not too late however, I was told that they were satisfied with my work so they may call me back again starting from next semester, if there is a need for replacement.
I tried to do my research on the jumpsuit, it's probably much less than 100% accurate, but, to tell the truth I didn't put that much effort into it.
Look at the lil' panda, rocking out to my show.
On the second pic, the proportions are so bad, I almost look like a chibi. >___> And yeah, I know. Big fat head, incredibly small hands. But whatever.... I can just go and make this a part of my style.
I am the greatest mopsinger of all... yes i can be hired...
On the last "panel", I couldn't help but make a Treasure Planet reference. (That's my favourite one of the drawings too, turned out best.) You know, when Silver introduces Jim to a couple of new friends. It's one of my all time favs. One day I'll become a comic artist and then you all can go and worship that movie because that is what got me into drawing comics and use the style that you can see now and is being improved.
And Morph is like, the most underrated character in Disney history. I don't even understand how can somebody not love that little fella.
So anyway, back to the drawing....
This is going to be like, my new drawing technique now, that I will sketch up the 3D elements and helping lines with another colour which is actually incredibly helpful because as it seems, it doesn't distract me from what I actually wanted to draw as much as a simple pencil sketch did. (I obviously did not invent this myself, I saw it somewhere and gave it a try. I can only recommend it to everybody.)
I'm not going to post this to scraps because no matter how sketchy it looks, this is how I intended it to be. I like it when drawings look raw and sketchy, as if somebody actually drew them.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
