(I didn't even want to upload this to DA but then I had to remind myself, the Wildstar crew might want to see this, so here it is my babes)
Last time we played together with the bae, this happened. His Isabel Witchward, semi-sane cybernetic implant expert, was collecting some technologist supplies; and while she was not looking, my Milos Zolavenko, makeshift anthropologist and hireling, accidentally stumbled into some VERY IMPORTANT ANTHROPOLOGY WORK OKAY
One thing that might not be crystal clear from the context: Milos is beta (or more like alpha lmao)-testing a brand new facial implant model and he is contractually obligated to supply the researchers with data on his experiences.
(I don’t think that anyone -but a small handful of the WSRP crew, maybe- realize at this point, how out of character it is for sweet innocent Milos to speak not just to his employer but anybody like this)
Drawing this comic was in many ways a humbling experience of self-awareness; it made me discover how much I really know about comics (nothing). I was not happy how the lineart turned out on this, somehow I just wasn't feeling the flow. In return I was like - let's go crazy with ALL these brushes I have in store, ooh what does THIS one do? I did learn some tricks in the process at least. Clipping masks and I are now best buddies for life.
I honestly don't know which brushes I used anymore or where they come from, but Î want to credit them anyway - they are all from here somewhere and they are wicked amazing. And I used the exact same texture as just before and no one can stop meeee
2 pages and 2/3? What are comics even, somebody please tell me because I clearly do not know...
My 2016 has been up and down. But I'm managing. Started up a new story arc then onto Season 6! Whoo! It should be exciting!
How about you?
Damn, your comic has progressed so far while I was not looking. I should be ashamed of myself. I haven't been around on Deviantart too much, in all honesty you are probably the only one I have regularly exchanged comments with on this website in years.
Your story has been on my mind though. Right now I'm preparing for a language exam, but once I'm through, I should definitely continue reading it and shower you with my comments.
Oh my god, you were the one who drew Samuel L. Mordesh I saw it on tumblr a while ago. Unforgettable
